Amsterdam in (Jazz department) then in 1984 I switched to the conservatory in Utrecht where I studied with Jazz-Fusion guitarist "Eef Albers". In 1987 I finished my school as a teacher in Jazz guitar. In this same year I started as a teacher in Guitar Workshops at Parnassos (a multi cultural center in Utrecht) and also took up a lot of freelance jobs as a side man in many local bands, thru Holland. 1990 was a new era in which "Mistura" was founded by Ian Boelens and myself a great Brazilian band which toured frequently through Holland and Belgium playing at  many Jazz  Festivals. Unfortunately  this  band came  to  an  end  in  the year  of 1994. Mistura  brought  out  one

great CD containing many compositions from the founding members and simply named Mistura, the Brazilian word for "Mix". At home I have my own little studio where many recordings have been made for several CD's. Since 1989 I have been working as a guitar teacher at the Music School in Leusden where I work up to this day teaching and passing on my knowledge and experience, to the new generation.
